the slowdown powerup again Mario Cart-inspired, will let the player who collects the powerup the ability to slow their opponent down.
this is done by decreasing the player's set speed in half, and when they have be affected by the powerup the reduced speed will take effect essentially stopping the player, this will only take effect for 5 seconds then the player will go back to the default speed.
