Barrier (tug of war)

For this barrier, we came up with the idea of it moving depending on who has the most hits. sort of like a tug of war. I thought this will give a unique experience, as I don't know any dodgeball game with this mechanic. I know their is a game called 'splatoon' which has the aspect of taking over the other teams play space, forcing the opposing team to have less space.
I also took inspiration from the game FarCry 5, and the final boss fight, where you are trying to resurect your team members, but they can also be resurected to the other team again, constantly making it a tug of war.
This idea was mainly for when we had it to be 5v5, so when we dropped the game to 1v1 split-screen. Thats where the barrier moving idea came from as we still wanted a compentive aspect.



From the even start, it will get the player number which is telling the code who just got the hit, then by using that player number it chooses 0 or 1 to go along.
The top line of code is the pirates win it moves the barrier to their advantage, so if the player hits their opponent the barrier will move to its next position which will be on the opponents side giving the pirates the advantage.
once the barrier gets all the way to the end it will trigger the pirates win screen.
The bottom line of code does the same thing but just for the tribals.
